SAN JOSE — A Mountain View man suspected of stealing and selling high-end wine from two of the Bay Area’s most prestigious restaurants almost never had his day in court. Alfred Georgis was sentenced Tuesday to 37 months in prison for illegally transporting wine from three restaurants, including the famed French Laundry in Yountville and Alexander’s Steakhouse in Cupertino.
