(Source: United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Louisiana) WASHINGTON - The Justice Department announced today that Granville Robinson, 27, of Memphis, Tennessee, was sentenced to 294 months in prison for his role in operating a sex trafficking scheme out of the Riviera Motel in New Orleans, using force and threats to compel multiple women to engage in prostitution for the defendants' profit in New Orleans and elsewhere. On Feb. 3, 2016, Robinson pleaded guilty to one count of conspiring to commit sex trafficking and one count of sex trafficking. A restitution hearing is scheduled for July 13, 2016.
